Deltus, the eldest son of Dr. T.G. Augustine and Mrs. Sophia Augustine was Born in 1963 at Chellanam in the beautiful city of Cochin. He was enchanted by music from the very childhood. Grown up as Tabalist in St. Sebastian's Church Choir, his early masters were Mr. V.X. Tom and Mechole.

A star in many of the school competitions and school youth festivals he joined the Carmelites where he pursued his philosophical humanitarian and religious studies and musical endeavor guided by Fr. Dominic Maliekal. The musician in him could not but theologize his passion working on a thesis the Theology of Music for his degree of B.Th. from Vidya Jyoyi, Delhi. Completing his masters in theology from the Gregorian University in Rome he taught for a few years in Jyotirbhavan and then decided to dedicate himself fully to the service through Music. Read more
